I have recently found out that my son's boots are not made for 15 inches of snow. They're more like rain boots than snow boots. Oh well, at least his feet aren't wet. They are slippery though, according to Seth. I'm not convinced that my boots are made for it either. The snow goes in the boots and down to my socks. Not the most pleasant of feelings. They do, however, enjoy swinging on the big swing in the tree in the snow.
Haven't been doing much to write home about (especially since I am home), so I don't have a lot to blog.
Oh, and I finished that book Messy Spirituality. I would recommend it because I believe it presents a perspective that a lot of Southern Baptist churches overlook. (Yes, Tommy, I agree about your thoughts on Michael Yaconelli). (Tricia, I can give you the book to read tomorrow. The guy that loaned it to me told me to pass it on when I emailed and told him I'd finished it. You can just give it back to my dad when you're done.)
Dangit I read this too late! I would have liked the book, but...I do work at a library. I'll see if someone nearby has it.
