Excellent visit in Peoria this past weekend. Left 15 inches of snow and arrived to about 3 inches at our own house. The kids immediately went outside to play in the snow. Hannah was so excited she could make tracks in the snow. My dad couldn't figure out why she wouldn't walk in the tracks already made at their house. She's a trail blazer, that one! She wants to go her own route. No, really she just likes to walk in the untainted snow.
Tonight after baths Seth was laying in my arms and looked up at me and said, "Mommy, you have two nose handles like I do!" I didn't think I heard him correctly, but when I asked him to repeat it he knew he had said something totally different than what it's really called, so he wouldn't tell me again. He said, "Those places on your nose where you can put your finger." *Cough* my perfect children do not pick their noses.... Anyway, I explained they were really called nostrils, so now he knows the correct term. He will, most likely, ask me again tomorrow. He's not as good with that term memorization thing as Hannah is. That's all I'm going to say tonight, but I have more I want to say and get opinions on. I'll do that at another time. Ooooh, suspense! No, really, not a huge thing. Just want opinions. Annnnnnd...good night.
Nose handles! I think I will start using his term. "Excuse me, but there's something....yeah, right there on your nose handle."
ReplyDeleteMaybe he was thinking about a bowling ball? My opinion meter is ready to run...just need your input! It was good to see you and your family Sunday morning.
ReplyDeleteHad to laugh at this post AND Trisha's comment!
